Han K. Do , DDS

General and Cosmetic Dentistry


Dr. Han K. Do graduated from the University of California at San Francisco, School of Dentistry in 1996. He keeps up with the latest advances and techniques in dentistry by taking numerous continuing education courses. Dr. Do uses high-tech equipment, such as Digital X-rays, CEREC, lasers, and intraoral cameras to achieve excellent restorative and cosmetic results. He is a member of the American Dental Association, California Dental Association, and the Sacramento District Dental Society.

John Lewis, MS, DMD

Specialist in Periodontics


Dr. John Lewis became interested in dentistry while doing his master's thesis on bone development and healing. After graduating with a master's degree, he went to the University of Pittsburgh to study dental medicine. He did his graduate periodontal training at the University of Washington School of Dentistry. Dr. Lewis has since achieved a prestigious Diplomate status in Periodontology from the American Board of Periodontology for his outstanding work on gum disease. Today, he is also an evaluator and examiner for the Dental Board of California in conscious sedation licensing. He also has acted as a consultant in periodontics to the Veterans Administration, which included lecturing and clinical instructing to general practice residents. He is a member of the American Academy of Periodontology, American Dental Association, California Dental Association, and the Sacramento District Dental Society.

Michael Mikitka, DDS

Specialist in Prosthodontics


Dr. Michael Mikitka enjoys dentistry because it allows him to enhance his patient's general health. A prosthodontist, Dr. Mikitka graduated from the University of California Los Angeles Dental School in 1971 and then did graduate work at Boston University. After 20 years of serving as a dental specialist with the U.S. Air Force and Army, he retired in 1997 to go into private practice. He is a member of the American College of Prosthodontists, American Dental Association, California Dental Association, and the Sacramento District Dental Society.

Gabriella Vance, DDS

General and Cosmetic Dentistry


After earning her B.S. in Neurobiology, Physiology and Behavior, from UC Davis Dr. Vance attended the UCSF School of Dentistry. During her time at UCSF, Dr. Vance was active in organized dentistry, representing her profession at national meetings, and continues this commitment to organized dentistry now as a tripartite member of the American Dental Association, California Dental Association, and the Sacramento District Dental Society.

After dental school, Dr. Vance also completed a hospital-based general practice residency in Bronx, NY, where she treated medically-compromised patients, as well as gained much experience in the specialties of oral surgery and endodontics. She enjoys being able to provide these expanded services to her patients at Alhambra Dental Plaza.

To Dr. Vance, education is all-important and she stays current with new technology and trends in dentistry by attending many continuing education courses. Her personal practice philosophy is one of quality, compassion, and stressing the importance of patient education. She is committed to providing the best care possible for her patients.


An Trinh, DDS

Specialist in Orthodontics


Dr. An Trinh might just be your kind of orthodontist: energetic, full of life, patience, and compassionate.  She believes in quality and personal orthodontic treatment.  She believes in clearly defining expectations, explaining treatment in simple terms, and providing a comfortable atmosphere for her patients.  Ultimately, she believes a beautiful smile can change a person’s life and she makes sure that the process is as enjoyable as the end result.

Dr. Trinh has been practicing orthodontic in multiple offices in Northern California and recently joined our practice spring 2015.  She constantly seeks to learn the newest methods and technology in order to provide the most current and best care to her patients.   Through her education and experience, Dr. Trinh believes in not just straight teeth but comprehensive care for a beautiful and healthy smile.  In her free time, she enjoys hanging out with her family and taking care of her autistic brother.  She also enjoys many outdoor activities like running, biking, hiking, and kayaking.  She resides in Fair Oaks, CA with her husband, Tom.

Dr. Trinh received her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of California, Davis and her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Meharry Medical College, Nashville TN, where she graduated 2nd  in her class.  She completed a one-year dental residency at a Community Health Clinic, Davis, where she received a certificate in Advance Education in General Dentistry.  She then went on to complete a 3-year Advanced Education in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics/Master of Business Administration at the Roseman University of Health Sciences, Henderson NV

Dr. Trinh is a member of the American Association of Orthodontist, the Pacific Coast Society of Orthodontist, the American Dental Association, and the OKU National Dental Honor Society.
